The words “publish or perish” are familiar to those in the academic world. As part of its mission to provide quality professional development experiences, the Graduate School has engaged the services of George Thompson, a veteran of the publishing industry, to offer our graduate students tips and techniques on navigating the publishing process, whether for journal articles or books.
We invite all graduate students, particularly those in their first year of a doctoral or terminal degree, to come to a group session by Mr. Thompson. Our session will focus on those wishing to publish books as well as articles in refereed journals.
