2022 Preparing Future Faculty and Scholars Application

The Preparing Future Faculty and Scholars (PFx) program is intended for full-time doctoral and MFA students seeking careers as faculty members in higher education.

Application Requirements

Full-time MFA or doctoral student in a UA program during the fall 2022 academic semester.
At least two years into the program of study.
Ability to commit attend all seminars.

The statement of purpose should describe the student's career goals in relation to working in or outside of higher education, and how participation in PFx would help the student achieve these goals. (1-2 double spaced pages, 12-point font, one-inch margins required, and name at top of each page).
